NEGATIVE THERMAL COEFFICIENT OF NANOPOROUS BIOMATERIALS

Abstract

Materials change their sizes when subjected to a temperature change. Generally he coefficient of thermal expansion is positive, however, a negative coefficient in anoporous biomaterials from enteromorpha is observed.
